Our Pre-Primary pupils have been learning about ‘Opposites’ and an awareness of the senses. However, “the proof is in the pudding” where they embarked upon a taste and smell sensory adventure with several stations set out where they could differentiate between sweet, bitter and spicy; including a blindfolded task. Well done to our littlest people for being so brave and trying new / different things!
“This exploration activity is beneficial to little ones as it helps build brain connections by igniting problem-solving situations; it allows them to better understand the world for a deeper understanding; it encourages language development as the pupils needed to describe their experiences; and it fosters curiousity.” – Ms Megan Hector, Grade RR Teacher.
