On 23 August the Prefects Environmental portfolio together with Interact organised a Canal Clean Up for the pupils. They hope to do this more frequently in the future.
Ilhaam Cassiem (l) and Kelsey Hendricks (r) took part in the Afrikaans WOW-spelkompetisie on 23 August. Kelsey won the individual prize in the Grade 10 category and she and Ilhaam also won the Grade 10 Schools’ category for Cannons Creek. We are very proud of them both.
Mandela Day was celebrated by each of the grades in the school. Different grades did different activities including making sandwiches which were then donated to charities, doing a beach clean-up, performing musical items at retirement homes and much more. In the photograph are the Grade 4s doing a beach clean-up.
