At Cannons Creek Pre-Primary, all our pupils are SMART.
During a class discussion about what it means to be ‘smart’, pupils initially thought that being smart meant always knowing the right answer. But slowly, they discovered that everyone has a different kind of smart. They learnt that ‘being smart’ is not about being the cleverest person in the room, but about recognising the gifts inside you.
Some children learn best through movement, some through music, some through drawing or storytelling, and others through working with friends or exploring nature.
