Cannons Creek is proud to announce the results from the 2025 Conquesta Olympiads, written in August/September for the Grade 3-6 pupils. Pupils took part in the Mathematics, English, and Afrikaans Olympiads; and the school received a Top 20 Award.
In a letter received from Conquesta, it stated “It is with great pleasure that we extend our heartfelt congratulations to your school for being placed within the 2025 Top 20 selections. It is regarded as an exceptional achievement to be placed anywhere within the Top 20 selections of Conquesta’s annual Olympiads.”
Grade 3:
- Mathematics: 7th place
- English: 16th place
Grade 4:
- Mathematics: 3rd place
- Afrikaans: 6th place
- English: 17th place
Grade 5:
- Mathematics: 3rd place
- Afrikaans: 3rd place
- English: 5th place
Grade 6:
- English: 8th place
- Afrikaans: 8th place
- Mathematics: 20th place
“Conquesta Academic Olympiads are multiple choice question papers which challenge Grades 1 – 9 learner knowledge in the various subjects in the curriculum (like a written quiz), and enables Educators to measure learners’ abilities against the national and international averages (computed from participating schools).”
