The pupils are not the only ones who get to have fun with the coding and robotics equipment at Cannons….
Last Thursday, staff development was devoted to ‘uplifting’ our teachers with drone pilot training. At Cannons Creek we are proud to have partnered with Inspire Africa to create Inquiry-based learning projects for our Grade 8 and 9 pupils using drone technology. After discussing the application of drone technology in the curriculum, teachers experienced being a pilot in control, flying through gates, exploring cinematic techniques, and even making their drones fly a loop-de-loop.
