Painting the school badge was a great activity to help our Grade RRs develop their fine motor skills. Holding a paintbrush and carefully applying the paint to the badge helps children improve their hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. It also allows them to explore different colors and shapes, boosting their creativity and artistic expression. Overall, this activity is a fun and effective way for preschoolers to enhance their fine motor development. While doing this activity, we spoke about what they remember seeing on the badge, where else they could see similar symbols, which will help them to remember and recognize important details on the Cannons Creek School badge and what they represent and stand for.
