Cannons Creek Independent School values Leadership through Service. The Grade 11s of the school were invited to attend a leadership training weekend this past weekend (13-15 August) to help prepare them for their role of leaders in the High School for 2022. While this would normally take place at Wortelgat campsite, the programme needed to be adapted in order to protect pupils and their families during the COVID-19 pandemic. Pupils were encouraged to step out of their comfort zones as they engaged in discussions, experiential learning activities and a hike up Lion’s Head.
