During September/October Kerry Porrill (Gr 10) took part in the Estonia Fall Maths Open Junior competition (grades 8-10) which is an international maths competition. She came 6th in the world, scoring a total of 40 out of 42. She has been invited to attend the South African Mathematics Foundation’s annual Mathematical Camp, to be held at the University of Stellenbosch from Monday 09 December to Friday 13 December 2019. The Camp will be the first step in the selection of teams to represent South Africa at the International Mathematical Olympiad and the Pan African Mathematics Olympiad. We are very proud of Kerry!
