The Environmental Prefect portfolio organised an outing on 20 February for sixteen pupils and two staff members to Soil for Life, an NPO in Constantia. The pupils engaged in activities such as mulching, weeding, aerating compost, making seed paper bags, and de-leaving plants to add them to the compost pile. It was a very worthwhile experience, with pupils literally getting their hands dirty and learning at the same time.
