Since it has been raining in Cape Town recently, our Grade Rs sang ‘Imvula’. This is an isiXhosa song about rain. Our Grade Rs are taught Conversational isiXhosa, which is the developed upon in later grades where pupils learn about the isiXhosa culture, traditions, music, different click sounds, and famous South African people, following the different themes covered in Afrikaans.
