The Grade 5s embarked on an exploration of wonder at the Iziko South African Natural History Museum. They engaged with many topics that they have been learning about this year, from the polar regions, animals, to fossils and artefacts, and ended by studying the San Rock Art that is on display. A definite highlight was feeding the pigeons and geese in the Company Gardens!
Amy – “The museum was amazing, teaching us about our history and natural science. I would love to come back and learn more.”
Isla – “The guide was very helpful and showed us all the exhibits. My favourite exhibit was the dinosaur room.”
Sophie – “This was an amazing experience and I learned so much, thank you.”
Jade – “This experience was extraordinary, and we had so much fun.”
Ronan – “This experience was crazy! There were about one hundred pigeons, and we fed them with nuts and bread; it was so amazing!”
