We are beaming with pride to announce that Grade 4 pupil Adam Parkar not only placed in the Top 10 finalists for the junior section of the South African Mathematics Challenge, he also received a Silver medal (one of only two Grade 4s, whilst the rest were Grade 5s).
He received his medal, certificate, and a cash prize at the prestigious SAMF (South African Mathematics Foundation) awards lunch in Johannesburg on Saturday 25 October where the event MC was well-known TV personality Jeremy Maggs. He was accompanied by his parents and sister Nabeela (Class of 2019) and Cannons Creek representative, Mr Mike Ford who also received the award for the top new school on behalf of Cannons Creek.
