Grade 12s take on the Breede River

Usually the whole school departs on Adventure Week at the end of Term 1 to various locations, with the Matrics spending a week paddling the Orange River. This all needed to be re-imagined due to COVID-19 restrictions and safety precautions. After several plans changed, a group of 19 Matrics headed off to the Breede Valley for three days of paddling and camping. They completed over 30km in inflatable Crocs, and braved the elements – sunshine, wind, and being cold /wet. Thank you to Frixion Adventures for their expertise and for keeping our pupils safe on the water (and well-fed!).
