Cannons hosts Zimbabwe’s Gateway Primary for sports fixtures

Cannons Creek Independent School hosted Gateway Primary School from Zimbabwe for two sporting fixtures during April – U12 girls Hockey on 22 April, and U13 girls Netball on 24 April. The energy was high as our girls displayed incredible talent and unwavering spirit. These special encounters allowed our players to test their skills against a new opponent – strong and well-trained teams.

The player of the U12 match is awarded to Atiya Kaplen for displaying good skill while utilising the drills that had been practiced, as well as showing great confidence on the field. She encouraged her teammates during the match and gave valuable feedback during half time.

The player of the U13 match is awarded to Ava Stoffels. The final score was 20 – 11 to Gateway Primary School.
