At Cannons Creek it is Cool 2 Care! All our Gr 1 – 6 pupils have been placed into a multi-grade Care Group. Each group is led by the Grade 6 member and is mentored by a teacher. The aim is to encourage a feeling of “family”. The older pupils will assist the younger children as they settle in this year and create a caring bond so that every child has a safe and friendly place where they belong. We will encourage the groups to look out for and engage with their members. The groups will gather periodically to do activities together and can also chat or greet each other informally as they cross paths during the day.
