The junior and senior debating teams participated against LEAP at Cannons Creek on Monday 7 March.
The juniors: Sophia Stamatiadis, Talya Davids and Molly de Witt proposed the topic “This House regrets the narrative that hard work leads to success”. The spoke most convincingly and won the debate. Molly was awarded best speaker of the debate. Well done, juniors!
The seniors: Noah Melunsky, Liam Ogilvie and Lucian Meder opposed the topic “This House believes that bigotry should never be portrayed in the media (even if it is meant to be criticised)”. The seniors spoke very well and won the debate. Well done, seniors! Our next debate will be on 11 April.
