Cannons Creek Junior Debaters Conor Durr, Talya Davids and Sophia Stamatiadis beat their opponents Herzlia in a debate on Monday 24 May. The topic was ‘This House prefers a jury system when trying criminal cases’, which Cannons Creek opposed. Conor was awarded Best Speaker. The debating league has been held online due to COVID-19 safety precautions and restrictions.
