Since the school’s management, teachers, admin and support staff were allowed back on the campus, much hard work has gone into preparing the school for the return of our pupils. The playground grass was cut, all classrooms and offices cleaned, sanitisers put in place, signage put up around the school buildings, desks in classrooms moved to ensure correct social distancing, and much, much more. COVID-19 Compliance documents were all scrutinised to ensure that Cannons was compliant.
The principals of both the Primary and High Schools were interviewed on Cannons Creek Radio about the measures that have been put in place at school. Letters and reopening plans were sent to parents, and both the newsletters had a link to a lovely video prepared by our IT Integrator, Mrs Nivison, about “What to expect” and the “new normal”.
