Congratulations to our budding artists at Cannons! We achieved a total of 36 awards at this year’s Eisteddfod – 8 Diploma, 5 High Honours, 22 Honours, and 1 High Merit!
“The Cape Town Eisteddfod was established in 1903. It is the most recognized festival in Cape Town and runs every year showcasing talent in five separate categories – Visual Arts, Dancing, Speech and Drama, Music and Creative Writing.” The aim at the Eisteddfod is to promote local art and culture, inspiring people of all ages to learn, progress and pursue their talents in the Arts.
